Jerusalem, 29 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The Ministry of Energy’s Fuel and Gas Administration survey reveals gaps of hundreds of Shekels per year between domestic Natural Gas (LPG) suppliers.

The ministry is publishing a monthly index that will focus each month on a different city, which will reveal the price gaps between companies, with the aim of “allowing the public to easily compare prices, strengthen their consumer power, and reduce costs for households.”

For example, the survey shows that in container exchanges in Haifa, there is a gap of up to 109 Shekels ($36) per bimonthly invoice between the cheapest and most expensive supplier, a gap that can reach approximately 650 Shekels ($216) per year per family. In stationary tank exchanges, the gap reaches up to ₪92 per invoice.
