I am pleased to announce the nomination of Judge John Cronan to the United States Sentencing Commission. Judge Cronan is a Highly Respected Judge on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Before joining the Bench, Judge Cronan was a Senior Official in the Department of Justice, and a longtime prosecutor in the SDNY, where he was Chief of the Terrorism and International Narcotics Unit. Judge Cronan graduated from Yale Law School and Georgetown University before clerking on both the SDNY and Second Circuit.
