IDF forces destroyed a bomb-making laboratory in the Tulkarm camp.

IDF forces dismantled a bomb-making lab in Tulkarm camp, seizing IEDs, pipe bombs, and explosive materials intended for attacks.

Following intelligence indications, IDF forces located and destroyed an explosives manufacturing lab in Tulkarm camp, within the Ephraim Brigade, the day before yesterday (Friday).

As part of the operation, the forces located a variety of weapons and materials used for manufacturing explosive devices in the lab, including:

  • Improvised explosive devices, including approximately 200 pipe bombs
  • Devices intended for attaching explosives to vehicles
  • Large gas cylinders with the potential to be used as underbelly charges designed to damage armored vehicles
  • Over 50 kg of improvised explosive material

The explosives manufactured in the lab were intended to harm IDF forces operating in Judea and Samaria and for use in carrying out attacks against Israeli civilians. The lab was operational before the IDF began its continuous operations in the camps in the northern Samaria region.

IDF forces’ operations in the area have been ongoing for over a year, during which forces have located ammunition, weapons, and explosive devices used by terrorist organizations in the area that posed a threat to Israeli civilians and IDF forces.
