IDF soldiers and their commanders visited the graves of IDF fallen soldiers in cemeteries and military plots across the country this morning (Tuesday).
The Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Aviv Kochavi, and the Head of the Manpower Directorate, Maj. Gen. Dadi Bar-Kalifa, participated in the state memorial ceremony at the Hall of Remembrance on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. Afterwards, the Chief of Staff participated in the official ceremony in memory of the fallen in acts of hostility in Israel and abroad.
The Deputy Chief of Staff, Maj. Gen. Tamir Yadai, participated in the memorial ceremony at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul in Tel Aviv.
Additional commanders attended memorial ceremonies at various military cemeteries, saluted during the siren, and strengthened the bereaved families.
An IDF soldier visited the grave of every fallen soldier, and in all IDF units, ceremonies were held at the unit and brigade monuments in memory of the fallen.
