Earlier today (Wednesday), IDF and Border Police forces responded to the area of the village of Jiljilya in the Binyamin Brigade.
IDF and Border Police apprehended sheep theft suspects in Jiljilya, facing stone-throwing and responding with force; investigation ongoing.
A number of suspects in the theft of sheep were apprehended by the forces and transferred for further treatment by the police in the Judea and Samaria district. Upon their departure from the village, a violent disturbance broke out, including stone-throwing. The force responded with riot dispersal means and fire towards key instigators. The claim that there are a number of wounded suspects and one killed from the forces’ fire is known. The incident is under investigation.
