Israeli Firefighters Battling Multiple Wildfires in Samaria
Nine Israeli firefighter teams are battling multiple wildfires near Har Bracha in Samaria, while six teams are deployed to a developing fire at Ein Sukkot.
Jerusalem, 3 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Fire and Rescue Service reported that nine teams of firefighters are battling multiple wildfires near Har Bracha in Samaria, with operations underway at three separate locations.
At the first location, the blaze was stopped before reaching Mitzpe Yosef and a nearby outpost. In the second, near a milling plant, containment lines were established while vehicles were evacuated. In the third, crews are working close to residential homes, with no immediate danger reported.
Separately, six teams were dispatched to a developing fire at the Ein Sukkot spring near the Jordan Valley. Rugged terrain is hampering firefighting efforts.
