Israel's Tax Authority reports 9,829 property damage claims by March 11, 2026, fewer than June 2025, with Tel Aviv and Ashkelon most affected.

Jerusalem, 11 March, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israel has recorded fewer property Damage Claims in the current conflict than during last year’s 12‑day war with Iran, indicating that this round of strikes has been less destructive, according to data released by the Israel Tax Authority on Wednesday.

As of March 11, 2026, the Compensation Fund – Property Tax has received 9,829 claims since the start of the present hostilities, covering damage to homes, personal belongings, vehicles, and other property. In comparison, close to 10,000 claims had been filed during the second day of the 12-day fighting in June 2025.

Of the current claims, 6,967 involve structural damage, 1,088 concern contents and equipment, 1,665 relate to vehicles, and 109 are for other types of loss, the Tax Authority said. Tel Aviv and Ashkelon have the highest numbers of claims, with 5,039 and 3,809 claims respectively, while Jerusalem, Acre, and Tiberias have seen smaller totals.

To support residents, 54 teams from The Compensation Fund are working across the country.
