Jerusalem, 23 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Fifteen new cadets have joined Israel’s Foreign Trade Administration after completing the Ministry of Economy and Industry’s flagship training program, aimed at strengthening Israeli exports and expanding global economic ties. The graduates were selected from 1,200 applicants and underwent intensive training to prepare for roles representing > 🇮🇱🇦🇷”>Israel’s economic interests abroad.
Economy Minister Nir Barkat said exports remain a key driver of growth, with the new cohort expected to help open markets and advance trade agreements.
The cadets will initially serve in Jerusalem before taking up four-year postings as economic attachés worldwide to promote trade and attract investment.
