The fight against crime and drug trafficking: Detectives from the Ashdod station and fighters from the Sa’ar Brigade uncovered drug and weapons caches in the city of Ashdod.

Five suspects were arrested as part of an initiative and focused operation against drug trafficking and illegal weapons possession offenses, conducted at the Ashdod station under the leadership of the station’s Crime Fighting Unit (YALAP). During the operation, detectives from the unit and fighters from the SAHAR brigade operated in the city of Ashdod. During the operation, detectives identified several suspects entering one of the warehouses, and they were arrested. During a search of the warehouse, approximately 2 kilograms of ketamine and crystal drugs, two handguns, magazines, and additional items were seized. The five suspects were arrested and transferred for further investigation at the Ashdod station.
