The Central Unit of the Tel Aviv District solved an explosive device detonation incident in a residential building in Ramat Gan. At the conclusion of the investigation, a statement of intent to indict was filed against the two suspects in February.

Large forces from the Tel Aviv District arrived at the scene, began collecting findings from the scene and searching for the perpetrators. During the initial investigation, it became clear that this was an explosion of an explosive device, which was placed in the building a short time earlier. As a result of the explosion, damage was caused to the structure and several apartments with no casualties. During the investigation, investigators performed many and varied actions, using advanced technology, and succeeded in identifying the suspects. Additionally, the YAMAM (Special Police Unit) officers managed to trace the route of the suspects, who arrived at the scene riding a motorcycle, placed an explosive device in the building, left the scene, and detonated the device. YAMAM officers arrested the two suspects, residents of Tel Aviv and Beersheba, and they were transferred for investigation at YAMAM Tel Aviv. Their arrest was extended, and a few days ago, a statement of claim was filed against them.
