The Central Unit in the Tel Aviv District solved a murder incident from 2019. On 27.12.19, the body of Eviatar Azarzar (18) was found in a pit in an open area near the Morasha Junction.

Israel Police's Tel Aviv Central Unit solved a 2019 murder, arresting four suspects in April 2026 for the shooting death of Eviatar Azarzar.

The body was found with gunshot wounds, and bullets, casings, and handgun rounds were found at the scene. As part of the investigation assigned to the Tel Aviv Central Unit, officers worked over the years to identify the suspects involved in the murder. Recently, there was a development in the investigation, and during April 2026, four suspects (in their 30s, Bnei Brak) were arrested on suspicion of involvement in the murder. During the investigation, it emerged that on December 8, 2019, in the evening hours, the suspects led Azarzar to the murder scene and shortly thereafter shot him. Subsequently, the suspects threw the body into a pit, fled the scene, and attempted to set fire to the vehicle they used to carry out the murder. In the coming days, an indictment will be filed against three suspects for involvement in the murder.
