Police officers from the Oz station in the Jerusalem district were dispatched to the scene and began investigation activities, evidence collection, and examination of the circumstances of the incident. It emerged that this was a large-scale incident of causing damage and breaking into vehicles, with 11 buses and four private vehicles being broken into, causing extensive property damage. Following an investigation, station detectives identified the suspect (24, East Jerusalem) and he was arrested.
