Smuggling of approximately 70 kg of suspected drug material was thwarted at the eastern border – security forces arrested two suspects in a joint operation by the Border Unit of the Northern District’s Central Unit,

Security forces closed in on the suspects and seized approximately 70 kg of a substance suspected to be hashish, which they allegedly attempted to export to Jordan. The suspects were taken for further treatment and investigation at the Northern District Police.
