Police officers who arrived for an operational activity in an open area in Ein Sahla were caught in a shootout.

Police officers from the Iron Station, in cooperation with tactical brigade fighters, operated proactively today in an open area in the Ein Sahla region to locate illegal weapons. During the operation, as the forces arrived at the location to conduct a search, fire was opened towards them, and the officers found themselves in a shooting incident with a real risk to their lives. The forces acted quickly and decisively, and at the end of the incident, a suspect was arrested and transferred for further investigation at the central unit of the Menashe district. During a search conducted by the forces in the area, a weapon was located and seized, which was transferred for further forensic examination as part of the investigation.
