Jerusalem District police officers are operating to disperse disturbances in several locations in the city, including the Russian Compound, Prophets Street, and Chaim Bar Lev Boulevard.

Three rioters were arrested for rioting and assaulting police officers. In the last hour, protests have been taking place at several locations in Jerusalem. The protests turned into riots involving blocking traffic routes and vehicles, and the rioters assaulted police officers, threw objects, and refused to obey the forces’ instructions at the scene. Police forces and Border Police fighters, riot police, and special patrol units operated to clear the routes and push back the rioters, using crowd dispersal means, including stun grenades and mounted police. The forces continue to operate at the scene with the aim of restoring order and keeping traffic routes open.
