Illegal demonstration on Highway 1 – Rioters are blocking the highway westbound and eastbound and are confronting police officers.

A police officer declared the demonstration illegal, and despite attempts at dialogue, rioters continue to gather at the scene. Forces from the Ayalon district, Tel Aviv Special Patrol Unit, and the National Guard are operating to clear the road and are directing traffic to alternative routes in order to restore order.
