Two suspects were arrested for investigation. Officers of the Crime Fighting Unit in the Gilad region, Gilad Special Patrol Unit fighters, detectives from the Ma’ale Adumim station, and the Jerusalem Border Police K-9 unit conducted a search at the home of a suspect in possession of weapons in Az-Zaim. During the search, a revolver pistol, 8 M-16 magazines, ammunition for a MAG weapon, an Israeli army rifle containing 5.56 ammunition, dozens of bullets of various types, and combat equipment were seized. Two suspects (Az-Zaim, in their 50s) were arrested for investigation. In parallel with the criminal proceedings, findings collected at the scene were transferred for investigation by additional bodies as part of the “National Justice” project, with the aim of examining the revocation of rights and related civil proceedings.
