Earlier this week, officers were dispatched following a report of two teenagers attacking another teenager. Officers from the Netanya station arrived at the scene following a report from civilians about a brawl between teenagers and immediately began investigating the incident and identifying those involved. During the investigation, one of the teenagers refused to identify himself and cooperate, despite repeated requests and explanations from the officers, and was subsequently arrested and transferred to the station for further investigation. The video circulating online shows only a few seconds, after the officers’ arrival, omitting the report that led to their dispatch and the conduct that preceded the arrest, thus creating a partial and misleading picture of the incident. It should be noted that due to the numerous incidents of violence between teenagers in the Kiryat Sharon area, station officers are operating in the area with increased presence every night to prevent and provide a rapid response. Just last week, during an operation in the industrial zone, officers arrested a teenager during a brawl with a knife in his possession, and he was transferred for investigation.
