After an initial questioning, the passenger was asked to exit the vehicle for inspection. Immediately after exiting the vehicle, the passenger began to flee for hundreds of meters on the road. The policewoman who pursued him eventually managed to arrest him, firing a warning shot into the air and receiving assistance from civilians passing by. After the suspect’s arrest, it was revealed that he is a resident of Judea and Samaria (26) who has been caught several times in the past and is facing a suspended sentence. The driver (Umm al-Fahm, 38) was also arrested. Yesterday, the Nazareth prosecution filed an indictment against the suspect, a resident of Judea and Samaria, and tomorrow the prosecution unit is expected to file an indictment against the driver.
