Caucasian Mafia Boss Assassinated near Caesarea
Yanis Yusibayev, head of the Caucasian Mafia, was fatally shot at a gas station near Caesarea and later pronounced dead at Hillel Yaffe Medical Center.
Jerusalem, 23 August, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Yanis Yusibayev, head of the criminal organization known as the “Caucasian Mafia,” was shot dead Sunday at a gas station near Caesarea. Magen David Adom paramedics evacuated him to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera with a gunshot wound to the head and in critical condition while performing resuscitation efforts, but he was ultimately pronounced dead.
Yusibayev, 45, a resident of nearby Or Akiva, was considered one of the most dangerous criminals living in Israel.
Hadera police launched an investigation into the incident and began collecting evidence and searching for suspects. A pursuit is currently underway for a vehicle suspected of being involved in the shooting.
