Ashdod: 2 Arrested With Drugs, Knife, Explosives Materials

Two suspects were arrested with drugs, a knife, and items suspected of being used for preparing explosives. During an operational activity by detectives from the Lahish District Investigation Unit as part of the fight against individuals involved in criminal disputes, two suspects were identified in the city of Ashdod. During a search conducted on their persons and belongings, approximately 30 grams of a substance suspected to be cocaine, baggies of marijuana divided into portions, a knife, surveillance devices, and electrical wires, which are suspected to be used for preparing explosives, were seized. The two suspects, residents of the South, were arrested and transferred for further investigation at the Lahish District Investigation Unit offices.
