Jerusalem, 4 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — A Turkish Embassy employee, Omar Safa Kusa, 27, was indicted by the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court on Monday for attempted indecent assault and invasion of privacy. Prosecutors allege Kusa entered the women’s changing rooms at a Tel Aviv beach, where he hid in a cubicle and attempted to photograph two 13-year-old girls while they showered. He later tried to photograph another woman.
The prosecution has requested that Kusa remain in custody until the end of legal proceedings.
