Jerusalem, 13 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — US President Donald Trump received a standing ovation today upon entering the Knesset lasting over two minutes.
In his historic speech at the Knesset he hailed what he called “historic dawn of the middle east”.
We’re in a nice place,” Trump said “giving thanks to the Abrahamic God.”
He added that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “is not easy to work with, but that’s what makes him great.”
Trump added that a golden age will begin, the way it is like “in the USA right now,” referring to his presidency.
Speaking about the ceasefire agreement, President Trump said that “a lot of people said we were wasting our time”, but we achieved this praising the work done by his envoy Steve Witkoff for the part that he played.
