Red Cross Bringing Israeli Hostage’s Remains to Soldiers

Jerusalem, 27 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The Red Cross has taken custody of a coffin with the remains of an Israeli hostage, and is on its way to transfer the body to Israeli forces inside Gaza.

Israeli soldiers will hold a brief ceremony, then deliver the coffin to Israel’s National Center for Forensic Medicine to confirm the identity and cause of death.

If confirmed, the number of bodies inside Gaza would be 12.
