Jerusalem, 4 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Saturday afternoon a suspicious vehicle arrived at the Ras Bidu checkpoint on the edge of Jerusalem, “quickly” entered the checkpoint and hit another vehicle that was parked there, said the police. The driver of the vehicle that was hit was slightly injured and was taken to receive medical treatment.

The terrorist attacker got out of his vehicle and fled on foot towards the village of Bidu. Border Police at the checkpoint gave chase, fired into the air and captured him.

There were no casualties among Israeli forces and the suspect was arrested and transferred to the security forces for further investigation.

The Magen David Adom Spokesperson said a 49-year-old woman was injured after being hit by a vehicle near the checkpoint. Its medics and paramedics are provided medical treatment and took her to the hospital in minor condition with injuries to her head and limbs.

MDA paramedic Eviatar Yamin said: “They brought us the woman who was injured in the incident after she was in her vehicle when a vehicle hit it. We provided her with medical treatment and evacuated her to the hospital in a minor condition.”
