Jerusalem, 23 October, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Construction and Housing Minister Haim Katz will submit the national housing plan for government approval next week, which will maintain the downward trend in prices and enable housing accessibility for Israeli citizens.

The new housing plan includes a move worth approximately 1.4 billion Shekels ($425,000) to accelerate construction, strengthen local authorities, and expand the supply of apartments across the country. The plan is intended to maintain the industry’s momentum after the success of the real estate acceleration plan of the past two years, which resulted in a significant increase in land sales and the number of building permits.
