Jerusalem, 31 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli President Isaac Herzog will depart Sunday evening for a three-day diplomatic visit to Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. Invited by the presidents of the three EU member states, Herzog will meet with senior officials to discuss bolstering bilateral ties, coordinating international efforts to free hostages held by Hamas, and increasing pressure on Iran.

The visit, running August 3–6, will also include Holocaust memorial ceremonies and meetings with Jewish communities. Herzog will be accompanied by a senior economic delegation focused on strengthening trade, tech, and industrial cooperation between Israel and the Baltic nations.
