Jerusalem, 16 December, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) confirmed that, after reports of shooting at the Beitar checkpoint in the area west of Gush Etzion, an IDF force identified a vehicle carrying Palestinians attempting to infiltrate into Israel that crossed the Security checkpoint and accelerated towards the security forces there. The forces responded by opening fire at the vehicle.
No casualties were reported.
The vehicle fled and has not yet been found.
