Jerusalem, 5 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) announced that it will “soon” attack several underground infrastructures for the production of UAVs that were established in the heart of a civilian population in Dahieh, a residential neighborhood in Beirut.

Locals have been warned to evacuate the area.

The announcement comes after the IDF explained that, despite the understandings between Israel and Lebanon, it has identified that the aerial unit of the terrorist organization Hezbollah is working to produce many thousands of UAVs, under the direction and funding of Iranian terrorist elements.

“After Hezbollah made extensive use of drones as a central component in its attacks on the State of Israel, the terrorist organization is working to strengthen the drone manufacturing industry in preparation for the next war with Israel,” said the IDF.

“This activity constitutes a blatant violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon,” it added. “The terrorist organization Hezbollah creates challenges for the State of Lebanon and thus undermines the implementation of the understandings. The IDF will work to remove any threat to the State of Israel and its citizens and prevent any attempt to rehabilitate the terrorist organization Hezbollah.”
