Jerusalem, 17 November, 2025 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) reported that after the evacuation of “Tzur Misgavi,” which is located north of the town of Metzad in eastern Gush Etzion, IDF, Border Police and police forces rushed to the nearby Arab village of Jab’a following a report received of dozens of Israeli citizens setting fire to and vandalizing houses and vehicles in the area.
Security forces are searching for those involved, the incident is still ongoing.
The IDF said it “views with severity and condemns violence of any kind, which constitutes a violation of security in the area, and is working to enforce law and order in the area,” adding that, “The violent incidents divert the attention of commanders and fighters from defense missions and thwarting terrorism.”
