Jerusalem, 10 December, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Between November 24 and 27, 2025, a delegation from Israel’s National Road Safety Authority, together with representatives of the Public Transport Drivers’ Association, embarked on a professional visit to Singapore. The mission’s goal was to study leading models in the field of road safety, public transport, and driving culture, and to explore opportunities for professional collaboration.

The visit included meetings with the Land Transport Authority of Singapore (LTA), visits to command-and-control centers, modern transportation complexes, and a bus driver training academy. During the tour, the delegation was exposed to an impressive combination of advanced regulation, innovative technology, and world-class training programs.

During the meetings, several models were presented that could be strengthened through cooperation between the two countries:

Use of simulators and international driver training
Sharing information and knowledge in the field of accident normalization and safety indicators
Expanding collaborations in the fields of analytics, automotive technologies and smart buses
Adopting insights into defining urban safety zones
