Jerusalem, 26 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics released the data on agriculture in Israel for the year 2024, reporting that in 2024, the value of agricultural output was approximately billion Shekels ($11 billion), broken down as follows: crops 21.4 billion NIS Shekels ($21 billion) and livestock – 16.5 billion Shekels ($4.8 billion). This constituted a decrease of 0.7% compared to 2023.
Agricultural output prices rose by 3.7%, crop prices rose by 5.6%, and livestock and their products prices rose by 1.3%.
There was a 4.2% decrease in the quantity of agricultural produce, mainly in beef, vegetables, and field crops.
The value of agricultural input (including wear and tear) was approximately 22.8 billion Shekels ($6.7 billion), an increase of 3.8%. Agricultural input prices decreased by 4%.
The value of agricultural exports in 2024 was 4.8 billion Shekels ($1.4 billion), almost unchanged compared to 2023.

The gross domestic product in agriculture (the value of agricultural output minus purchased inputs such as fertilizers and pesticides, including depreciation) was 17.6 billion Shekels ($5.19 billion).
The net domestic product (gross domestic product in agriculture excluding depreciation) was 15.1 billion Shekels ($4.45 billion), a decrease of 6.8% compared to 2023.
