Jerusalem, 19 August, 2025 (TPS-IL) — El Al, Israel’s flag carrier, announced Tuesday it will resume flights to Eilat after more than a decade, following a request from Israel’s ministry of Transportation to boost connectivity with the south. Beginning October 21, the airline will operate two daily Boeing 737 flights on the Tel Aviv–Eilat route, one in the morning and one in the evening.

Fares start at NIS 139 ($41) one-way, with a subsidized NIS 99 ($29)fare for residents of the Eilat region. Tickets are already on sale.
