Jerusalem, 4 December, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israeli sensor company Innoviz Technologies has been selected by Germany’s Daimler Truck and its U.S. subsidiary Torc Robotics to supply short-range LiDAR (light detection and ranging) sensors for series production of Level 4 autonomous trucks. Innoviz’s InnovizTwo sensors, which use laser light to detect and map surrounding objects, will be integrated into Daimler’s autonomous Freightliner Cascadia trucks developed in the united States and Canada by Torc.

The partnership confirms that Daimler Truck was the previously unnamed commercial vehicle maker that chose Innoviz for future autonomous truck production. The companies will work together to advance sensor capabilities for deployment on North American highway and regional routes, positioning Israel’s Innoviz as a key technology provider in the global autonomous-trucking market.
