BlueGen Wins Public Tender to Expand Eilat Desalination Facility

Jerusalem, 30 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — BlueGen, won a public tender to expand Eilat’s Sabha desalination facility, the Israeli environmental solutions company’s owner, Generation Capital announced.

“The new facility will double the region’s desalinated water supply — from 18 to approximately 38 million cubic meters per year — and will be constructed over 3.5 years, utilizing state-of-the-art reverse osmosis technology,” Generation Capital said.

The tender estimated the cost of planning and executing the project at NIS 425 million ($126 million).
