Jerusalem, 5 June, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics released the data on the average gross salary for a regularly employed position in March 2025.
March 2025 – According to original data – Israeli workers
The average salary for a salaried position at current prices was 14,672 Shekels ($4,201) an increase of 4.9% compared to March 2024, when it was 13,986 Shekels ($4,004).
The average salary for an employee position at constant prices (deducted by the monthly consumer price index) was 11,999 Shekels ($3,435), an increase of 1.5% compared to March 2024, when it was 11,821 Shekels ($3,384).
The number of salaried jobs was 4.102 million, an increase of 0.6% compared to February 2025 (4.079 million) and an increase of 2.2% compared to March 2024 (4.014 million).

Average salary for an employee position at current prices – According to the flash estimates for April 2025, the average salary for an employee position at current prices for all employees was 13,627 Shekels ($3,901), an increase of 3.3% compared to April 2024, when it was 13,194 Shekels ($3,778). The average salary for an employee position at current prices for Israeli employees was 13,907 Shekels ($3,982), an increase of 3.6% compared to April 2024 when it was 13,423 Shekels ($3,843).
Salaried Jobs – According to the flash estimates for April 2025, the number of salaried jobs for all employees was 4.314 million, almost unchanged compared to March 2025 (4.317 million) and an increase of 3.1% compared to April 2024 (4.184 million).
The number of salaried jobs of Israeli workers (out of the number of salaried jobs of all workers) was 4.099 million, almost unchanged compared to March 2025 (4.102 million) and an increase of 2.1% compared to April 2024 (4.015 million).
