$4.4 Million Allotted to Finance ‘Innovative’ New Water and Energy Projects

Jerusalem, 31 July, 2025 (TPS-IL) — Israel’s Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure will invest approximately 15 million Shekels ($4.4 million) in financing innovative project programs in the energy and water sectors. It is currently publishing a call for proposals for “Startup, Pioneer and Demonstration” by the Chief Scientist Unit in the Ministry.

In the “Pioneer and Demonstration Track,” the Ministry will finance up to 50% of the entrepreneur’s approved budget for the project in selected projects, with a single grant ceiling of up to 1.5 million Shekels ($440,000) in the fields of energy and up to 3 million Shekels ($880,000) in the fields of alternative fuels for transportation and hydrogen.
