The IDF eliminated a PIJ terrorist who infiltrated on October 7th, participated in the holding of Rom Breslavsky captive, and in ceremonies for the handover of hostages. The IDF attacked in the Deir al-Balah area over the weekend, and eliminated the terrorist Mahmoud Fattayer, a Nukhba commander in the Central Camps Brigade of the PIJ terrorist organization. The terrorist infiltrated into Israeli territory on October 7th and participated in the holding of Rom Breslavsky captive by the PIJ. As part of the sixth phase of Operation “Gates of Heaven,” the terrorist was documented in PIJ terrorist organization uniforms, participating in the handover ceremony of many hostages, including: Amit Shani, Ofir Engel, Moran Stella Yanai, Itai Regev, Liam Or Nasser, Raz Ben Ami, Paiboon Ratnin, Gong Sai Lao, Jakaphan Sikna, and Charoenchai Sae-Ngai. Recently, the terrorist attempted to advance terror plots against IDF forces and Israeli civilians and was eliminated to remove the threat. IDF forces in the Southern Command are deployed in the area according to the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any threat.
