IDF, Shin Bet, and Border Police forces operated during the night and morning hours (Saturday) to arrest over 70 wanted individuals and thwart terror throughout Judea and Samaria. All wanted individuals were transferred for further investigation by security forces.
In the Samaria Brigade, IDF and Shin Bet forces completed a brigade-level operation in the village of Tulkarm, where the terrorist who carried out yesterday’s (Friday) shooting attack resided. As part of the operation, Nahal Commando fighters arrested 11 wanted individuals and interrogated approximately 80 suspects.
In the Menashe Brigade, as part of a broad brigade-level operation, forces scanned over 300 locations and arrested wanted individuals identified with Hamas, and terrorists who promoted explosive device attacks.
In the Benjamin Brigade, during a brigade-level operation at several sites, forces arrested approximately 20 wanted individuals, including those who acted to promote terror plots, throw Molotov cocktails, and engage in arms trafficking. Additionally, about 50 more suspects were interrogated in the field.
In the Ephraim Brigade, our forces arrested 15 wanted individuals, including Hamas operatives, inciters, and promoters of terror activities. Duvdevan unit fighters arrested a terrorist intending to carry out an attack and a Hamas-affiliated wanted individual operating in the Tulkarm area.
In the Etzion and Judea Brigades, forces arrested 16 wanted individuals suspected of inciting terror, terrorists identified with Hamas and arms dealers, and also located and confiscated hunting weapons.
