Jerusalem, 5 July, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The northernmost Israeli road safety training ground was inaugurated, the “Park of Life,” in Ma’alot Tarshiha in the upper Galilee.

The new park will provide an educational and instructional solution for road safety for residents of Ma’alot Tarshiha and the area, and will perpetuate the memory of the late Moran Ben Eli and her children who were killed in a fatal traffic accident in the Hurfeish area on September 29, 2021.

The new training center in Ma’alot Tarshiha joins the National Road Safety Agency’s national training network, which currently numbers, together with the new facility, 20 active training centers across the country—18 permanent centers and two mobile centers. These centers operate study programs based on practical exercise, experience, and simulation, with the aim of providing participants with learning experiences and training that promote safe and responsible behavior on the roads among children, youth, and adults.
