Israel Thwarts Palestinian Terror Attack, Three Arrested
Israeli security forces arrested three Palestinian suspects in Meithalun, Samaria, thwarting a terror attack. A firearm was discovered.
Jerusalem, 2 June, 2026 (TPS-IL) — Israeli security forces apprehended three suspected Palestinian terrorists in northern Samaria over the weekend, the Israel Defense Forces said on Tuesday.
The suspects were detained in the village of Meithalun, south of Jenin while preparing an attack, accoridng to the IDF. Security forces uncovered a “Carlo” firearm buried underground.
