Today we inaugurated the Eastern Railway Line of Israel Railways, which will allow travel from north to south without passing through Tel Aviv.

This is huge news for the citizens of Israel. We are easing the burden on the coastal highway, connecting the center to the periphery, and bringing tremendous development momentum to Jews and Arabs alike. This is not just a transportation project. This is a vision on wheels. From Kiryat Shmona to Eilat, Israel is moving forward at a new pace. We said we would connect the country – and we are doing it. Even in the face of war challenges, even against those who said it wouldn’t happen. Israel continues to build, develop, and win.
