My wife Sara and I are pained by the passing of Zahava Shaul, may her memory be a blessing, mother of Staff Sergeant Oron Shaul, may his memory be a blessing. For over a decade, we have maintained a personal and close relationship with the Shaul family.

Together we recited the verse that accompanied her hopes all these years: “And there is hope for your future, says the Lord, and your children shall return to their own land.” Together with all the House of Israel, Sara and I embrace Aviram and Ofek, her sons, and the entire dear Shaul family, and share in their deep sorrow.
