In the last 24 hours: The IDF attacked Hezbollah terrorist organization’s terror infrastructure in southern Lebanon. In response to yesterday’s incident (Wednesday), in which Major (Res.) Harel Birkenstock z”l and Sergeant Major (Res.) Tamir Vaknin z”l fell, and four IDF soldiers were seriously injured as a result of an explosion in the Majdal Zoun area, the IDF attacked Hezbollah terrorist organization’s terror infrastructure in several different areas in southern Lebanon in the last 24 hours. Among the infrastructures attacked: weapons storage facilities, a command post, and additional terror infrastructure. IDF forces continue to be deployed in the security area in southern Lebanon in accordance with the agreement, and will continue to operate to remove threats to the citizens of the State of Israel and IDF forces.
