Dozens of Hezbollah Weapons Located, Rocket Fire Observation Post Attacked
The IDF located dozens of Hezbollah weapons, including explosives and rockets, and attacked a rocket launch observation post in southern Lebanon.
Jerusalem, 24 April, 2026 (TPS-IL) — The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) said it continues to “thwart threats in the front line of defense area,” as dozens of weapons have been located in southern Lebanon in recent days.
Since the ceasefire agreements were signed, IDF forces have continued to operate in Southern Lebanon to destroy infrastructure and locate weapons of the Hezbollah terrorist organization in the front line of defense area the IDF established in Lebanon.
Earlier on Friday, Israeli Forces attacked observation posts at a Hezbollah rocket launch site in the Kunin area, south of Israel’s front line of defense. The observation post that was attacked posed a “direct threat to the forces operating in the area,” said the IDF.
In other activities in the area, caches of weapons were located, including explosives, Kalashnikov-type weapons, grenades, RPG rockets, and combat equipment.
Additionally, Israeli forces have located weapons, an anti-tank missile, and combat equipment in the Rashaf area over the past 24 hours.
