Underground weapons manufacturing site in the Beqaa Valley and terror infrastructure in Tyre: IDF strikes during the night. Tonight (Friday), the IDF struck an underground site belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in the Beqaa Valley. The site was used by the organization’s operatives to manufacture weapons intended to harm Israeli civilians and IDF forces operating in southern Lebanon. In addition, Hezbollah terrorist organization infrastructure in the Tyre area, from which the organization’s operatives acted to plan and execute terror attacks against IDF forces, was attacked. Prior to the strike, measures were taken to minimize harm to civilians, including advance warnings to the population, the use of precision munitions, and aerial observations. The IDF continues to act against threats to Israeli civilians and IDF forces, and in accordance with directives from the political echelon.
