Commander of the Air Force, Major General Tomer Bar, spoke at the ceremony: “The memory of our comrades, who are memorialized here on Mount Scopus, has shaped and accompanied me throughout my years of service in the Air Force. My feet have walked this place with reverence. The names on the stone tablets, each of which holds a complete life story – have filled and continue to fill me again and again with deep faith in the righteousness of the path, the righteousness of the State of Israel.”
