The Chief of Staff, Lt. Gen. Aviv Kochavi, hosted the Commander of CENTCOM, Admiral Brad Cooper, in recent days.
During the visit, the commanders discussed the importance of cooperation between the armies in the campaign against Iran and coordinated the next steps.
The Chief of Staff expressed his appreciation for the achievements of the joint operations of the forces and emphasized that the cooperation between the bodies is unprecedented and essential.
“The IDF and the US Army fight together out of shared interests and values, with full trust, mutual respect, shoulder to shoulder – they are true friends,” said the Chief of Staff, “In a synchronized and coordinated operation, we attack and strike together at the Iranian terror regime, bringing them to strategic isolation and a point of weakness they have never been at before.”
“We are in close, daily contact with our partners from the US Army as part of the combat clock,” he continued, “There is a shared interest here – a commitment to removing an existential threat, from Israel, and from the entire region.”
“These are historic days, meticulously planned,” added Lt. Gen. Zamir, “Intelligence, air defense, logistics, and additional arrays are working day and night together with their counterparts in the US Army. The Israeli Air Force and the American Air Force are operating together over the skies of the Middle East, enabling the pace of progress and the depth of the strikes we have achieved. We will not stop, and in the coming period, we will deepen our achievements and continue operations to weaken the Iranian regime.”
