The Nahal Brigade forces continue to operate in the southern Lebanon area. As part of their operations, the brigade’s forces are eliminating terrorists, locating and destroying weapons and terror infrastructure. During their operations, the brigade eliminated the three terrorists who killed the four Nahal Sayeret (reconnaissance unit) soldiers – Captain Noam Madmoni z”l, Staff Sergeant Ben Cohen z”l, Staff Sergeant Maxim Antis z”l, and Staff Sergeant Gilad Harel z”l.
The terrorists were eliminated in close-quarters combat, and it was later confirmed through precise intelligence that these were the same terrorists responsible for the falling of the fallen soldiers.
IDF forces in the southern Lebanon area will continue to operate with the goal of ensuring the security of the citizens of the State of Israel, and the residents of the North in particular.
Commander of the Nahal Brigade in southern Lebanon: “The Nahal Brigade has been fighting in the northern area for several days. We are encountering quite a few terrorists, eliminating them, destroying infrastructure, and finding a lot of weaponry. Our mission is clear – to protect the residents of the North. Unfortunately, we paid a heavy price in recent days with the falling of four Sayeret soldiers. We succeeded in killing those terrorists and continuing to destroy the infrastructure here.”
