Earlier today (Sunday), forces of the 188th Brigade Combat Team operating in the southern Gaza Strip identified an armed terrorist in the area of the Gaza border fence, who posed an immediate threat to the forces. In another incident yesterday (Saturday), forces of the Kfir Brigade Combat Team operating in the central Gaza Strip identified a terrorist who was approaching the forces, in a manner that posed a real threat. In both incidents, immediately after identification, the Air Force, guided by the forces, attacked and eliminated the terrorists in order to remove the threat. IDF forces under the command of the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.
